Experience you can rely on.
When precision is standard practice
Meisterfilter stands for technical solutions developed from real-world practice. From the very beginning, our focus has been on reducing fine particulate emissions wherever wood is burned — through well-engineered technology, in-house development and a clear understanding of actual operating conditions. What started as an idea has grown over the years into a company that delivers filtration solutions for a wide range of applications.

2006
Founding & First Major Contract
Meisterfilter AG (formerly G&M E-Filter GmbH) was founded in 2006 by Jörg and Helga Meister. The idea arose from Jörg Meister’s background in servicing large wood-fired heating systems and his enthusiasm for hands-on technical development, which led him to create his own solutions for reducing fine particulate emissions. In the same year, Meisterfilter secured its first major contract, delivering two high-performance filter systems for Riwag in Arth-Goldau.
2007
InnoPrix SoBa
Just one year after its founding, Meisterfilter AG received the InnoPrix SoBa award. The distinction recognised the company’s contribution to cleaner air and highlighted the potential of the young business.
2008
Relocation to the first workshop facility
Meisterfilter AG found a new home in its first own production facility at Industriestrasse 17 in Matzendorf.
2008
Vigier Innovation Award
In the same year they moved into their first production facility, Jörg and Helga Meister were awarded the Vigier Award for young entrepreneurs and were featured in a report on Swiss television. This gave the company additional visibility and recognition.

2015
Introduction of the R-filter generation
With the introduction of a new generation of filter systems, a new phase of technological development began.
