Job description

At Meisterfilter, you'll do more than create CAD drawings. You'll help develop electrostatic filtration systems that are used in biomass and wood-fired heating plants, working closely with customers, production and engineering from concept through to implementation.

If you enjoy solving technical challenges, taking ownership and seeing your designs become reality, we'd love to meet you.

What we offer:

  • A varied and challenging role with plenty of room to shape your own work

  • A collaborative team with flat hierarchies and fast decision-making

  • Modern tools and a state-of-the-art CAD environment

  • Competitive salary and attractive employment conditions

  • Professional development and long-term career opportunities

  • Support for further education alongside your role

Your responsibilities:

  • Create manufacturing drawings and assembly documentation for electrostatic filter systems

  • Work closely with customers to clarify project-specific requirements (e.g. installation conditions, available space and connection details)

  • Prepare all project documentation, including bills of materials (BOMs), layout drawings and operating manuals

  • Maintain and further develop design documentation and drawing templates

  • Coordinate closely with engineering, production and customers throughout the project

  • Depending on your interests, take on additional responsibilities in electrical design and PLC programming

What you’ll bring with you:

  • Completed vocational training as a Mechanical Design Engineer, Mechanical Technician or a comparable mechanical/technical qualification

  • Strong mechanical design skills and a solid understanding of mechanical assemblies

  • Experience with sheet metal design, welded constructions or assembly design is an advantage

  • Confident user of 2D CAD (AutoCAD)

  • Experience with 3D CAD (Autodesk Inventor) is a plus

  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel and Teams)

Who you are:

  • An open and communicative team player

  • Independent, well-organised and solution-oriented

  • Motivated by varied technical challenges in a dynamic SME environment

  • Willing to take ownership and responsibility for your own projects

  • Good command of German, both written and spoken; French or English is an advantage
